Envelope PTFE gaskets have a wide range of applications. The main role is played by their design, namely the basic variant with a corrugated ring [ED01], the variant with fiber inserts [ED10] or the ring and inserts together [ED30]. The Dyneon™ TFM™ 1600 coating also has its own sealing function, which is a molecular chain modified PTFE with very good sealing properties. Envelope seals contain a wide diffusion barrier [3/4 mm] which prevents the diffusion of the medium through the sealing cross-section.
Applications: For aggressive media which is hazardous for the health. Broad range of applications primarily in the chemical and petro chemical sector. Gasket systems for pipeline flanges, device and container flanges. Use in food sector and pharmaceutical production. Used for high requirements in process purity.
