Rubber-metal seals [rubber-steel] as the next stage of development of simple flat rubber seals. The sealing system consists of a lens-shaped rubber body and an inner steel ring. The rubber shell is firmly vulcanized on a steel insert, thus creating a stable bundle resistant to high stresses. The steel insert then increases the resistance to blowout and the stability of the sealing system. The lens-shaped shape also partially increases the surface pressure. We offer it in the basic version [type GSO1] or with an additional O-ring [type GS10], including a choice of rubber covering [NR, NBR, EPDM, CSM, FPM].
Application: Gaskets for pipeline flanges, device and container flanges. Gas/water pipeline construction. Plastic pipelines. Rubberised flanges. Vacuum. Connections sensitive to stress [e.g. glass flanges].
