Packings are a form of industrial sealing that prevents the passage of separated liquids and gases around axles, shafts, rods, rods and plungers that pass through the separating barrier. The seal differs from other types of seals in that it is mounted not on a passing object, but on a separating barrier. Basically, we distinguish between two main types of seals, i.e. the method of sealing the shaft at the pump, namely rope or mechanical variants of seals.
